The beautiful grounds of Longhouse Reserve, in East Hampton, are filled with beautiful sculpture and views. True to my usual lack of direction, I followed instructions on how to get to this site, and promptly went in completely the wrong direction. But, the walk was absolutely worth it. Such lovely grounds and plantings. Finally I followed the sound of laughter and found my fellow plein air painters. Although it was high noon, and not my favorite light, the reflections on the water and the bright color of the lilies made a fun focus for the afternoon.
