This scene is across the tidal river from Popham Fort in Maine. It's a favorite place for us, just across from Spinney's Restaurant. We've sat on the shore here and watched the seals congregate for their annual mating season. And we've climbed all over the fort, just up the road. It's a favorite spot for families who enjoy the view and the fishing. There is a very strong tide sweeping in and out every six hours. The recent storms have damaged many of the roads in this area, but the people there are very resilient. They will rebuild. This scene is across the tidal river from Popham Fort in Maine.
