My daughter and her dog were out in a field just as the sun was setting. We had admired that field for the whole week we stayed in the adjoining cabin. There was a whole world out there, hawks hunting rabbits and voles, wild turkeys, blue birds, deer, and after dark, fireflies winking across the grasses. It wasn't planted, but wild, and the rich smell of mint and burdock and grass rose up at sunrise and sunset. And then one early evening, before we went out to dinner, I saw these two loves out in the field. They agreed to pose. These two are a team, and their bond is a wonder to see.
