In the winter in Maine we do not get very many hours of sunlight. My husband and I like to go for a walk in all seasons, strapping on our snowshoes in the winter, if that is what it takes to get outside. And we like to take in every moment of light we can, especially embracing the sunsets. This sunset was at the end of a day of exploring, and at a park not far from Portland, Maine. The air is clear and beautiful here, allowing the evening light to glow and reflect. It is a good way to end the day (or at least to welcome the 4:30 pm night).
