A drive through Maine in the summer can lead to the most picturesque views, and they could be around any corner. I loved the composition of this scene when I took the photo. The layers of color in the water, all blues, browns and greens were juxtaposed next to the bright colors of the fishing and lobster gear. And is there anything prettier than a small island jutting out of the deep blue of the sea? I can still feel the warmth of the sun and smell the rich scents of the sea when I look at this image. It makes me want to pack a picnic and take off for the water. A drive through Maine in the summer can lead to the most picturesque views, and they could be around any corner.
