During the Covid lockdown we discovered a land conservancy space near our home, with a stream running through a ravine. It became our new favorite place for walks in all seasons. The water rages through during the spring. Later, alewives fight their way up that same stream toward a lake where they spawn. In all seasons and all weather it is beautiful, and quiet. Peace in the midst of chaos.
