A really windy day, if it doesn't rain, is a great day at our cabin. It means we can do laundry and freshen up the linens that have taken on a cabin scent and dog hair. I love the sound of the wind rushing through the white pines at our summer place. It is also accompanied by the loud crashing of the waves stirred up by the same wind. Since we have nowhere to be and nothing we have to do, it is nice to just enjoy the changeable weather, come what way. And, I loved the way these two woolen blankets danced in the wind.
