I saw a quote about dandelions the other day: Some see a weed and others see a wish. I've seen them as both. And a few years ago, I also saw them as a great addition to a salad (the young leaves, that is). But, whatever I called them, they have always seemed a little whimsical and magical. Each individual seed has its own parachute, lifted into the air for a wild ride on the wind as it flings its future outward. And together, they look like a Dr. Seuss character - sweet and slightly comical. I saw these the other day and loved the light shining through, so decided to try to recreate a little of the joy I feel when I see them.
