On a recent visit to the big island of Hawaii, my family sat and watched the sunset each night. It happens quickly, and gets dark faster afterward than summer sunsets in Maine. The rich sky colors reflect off of the water, but not the craggy lava stones along the beach. It was a wild and beautiful place.
