A beautiful sunset stops us all in our tracks. It takes us out of our busy lives and invites us to sit still for a few moments and to soak in the majesty of the light writing joy across the sky. It's all about light and water, refracting and reflecting color through moisture in the sky, and on the earth below. But we don't think about the science of it, at least I don't. I feel the jump in my heart of recognized beauty, and ache with the joy of being part of the moment. I stand as just a witness, but somehow take part as well. The dance of life writ across the sky.
