Size: 7x5 in
This is an encaustic monoprint of a New York City townhouse on the Upper West side. Each image is one of a kind. First, the laser print is created on thick archival printing paper. An encaustic monoprint is achieved by melting encaustic wax on a hot plate, lying the paper face down on the wax, burnishing the paper, and carefully removing. The image itself is 7" x 5" and can either be mounted and framed or matted and framed.
