I was very lucky to have lived in Ireland for four years. This experience gave me a lasting love of the country, which I have missed, since returning to the United States. Painting the landscape from my photographs helps! This painting is of a County Donegal boat moored on a lake we came across in the countryside. This painting was chosen to be used on the set of the film "The Greatest" , directed by Pierce Brosnan, an Irishman. I was very lucky to have lived in Ireland for four years.
