This is a view in Cape Henlopen Park, Delaware. Each summer my sister rents a house in Rehobeth and we pick a day to ride our bikes from Rehobeth to Lewes, through Cape Henlopen Park. We have lunch and then ride back. The park is beautiful but this is one of my favorite scenes. This encaustic incorporates a toner transfer.
(Encaustic is a process in which you paint with melted wax, fusing each layer together. When polished it gives a luminescence not seen in other mediums.)
