Media: The encaustics are done on encausticbord (by ampersand) which is a prepared hard board, 1/8" in thickness.

$150 for FRAMED piece. One of my favorite places to eat, in one of my favorite towns in Ireland, is Edward Langton's, in Kilkenny. It was established in 1938 and is still run by members of the Langton family.(Encaustic is a process in which you paint with melted wax, fusing each layer together. When polished it gives a luminescence not seen in other mediums.)
