Media: The encaustics are done on encausticbord (by ampersand) which is a prepared hard board, 1/8" in thickness.

$80 for UNFRAMED piece.
$130 for FRAMED piece. I hold onto some of my favorite pieces until I'm finally ready to let go! This mother was taking a break while, I'm guessing, her baby was sleeping. This was on 5th Avenue near Central Park. In 2014 the piece was on exhibit at the First Street Gallery in the Chelsea district of NYC. This is an encaustic with a toner transfer. (Encaustic is a process in which you paint with melted wax, fusing each layer together. When polished it gives a luminescence not seen in other mediums.)
