Media: The encaustics are done on encausticbord (by ampersand) which is a prepared hard board, 1/8" in thickness.

$130 for FRAMED piece. This apartment building was built in 1910 and is located in what they call the "two Bridges neighborhood" located between the Manhattan Bridge and the Brooklyn Bridge. I just like the way the fire escape is painted to match the cornice. This is an encaustic with a toner transfer.(Encaustic is a process in which you paint with melted wax, fusing each layer together. When polished it gives a luminescence not seen in other mediums.)
