Media: The encaustics are done on encausticbord (by ampersand) which is a prepared hard board, 1/8" in thickness.

This is a beach in the Bahamas which they call "Jaws Beach" because, apparently, the 4th Jaws movie was filmed there! I didn't even know they'd made a 4th movie! The beach is beautiful and really deserves a better name!This encaustic incorporates a toner transfer. (Encaustic is a process in which you paint with melted wax, fusing each layer together. When polished it gives a luminescence not seen in other mediums.)
