$100 for UNFRAMED piece.
$150 for FRAMED piece. This is an encaustic of Pier 54 on the Hudson River in Manhattan, that which is left of it anyway. Pier 54 was owned by the Cunard and White Star Lines. The survivors of the Titanic disembarked here in 1912 and the pier also accommodated the RMS Lusitania before it was torpedoed in 1915.The steel archway is now a part of the Hudson River Park and it is the vantage point for the newest Manhattan park called 'Little Island".This piece incorporates a toner transfer, pen and ink and embossing powder. (Encaustic is a process in which you paint with melted wax, fusing each layer together. When polished it gives a luminescence not seen in other mediums.)
