Media: The encaustics are done on encausticbord (by ampersand) which is a prepared hard board, 1/8" in thickness.

$175 for FRAMED piece. This is the entryway to the ruined monastery of Clonmacnoise, in County Offaly, on the river Shannon. This encaustic incorporates a toner transfer, and pan pastel. (Encaustic is a process in which you paint with melted wax, fusing each layer together. When polished it gives a luminescence not seen in other mediums.)
