Media: The encaustics are done on encausticbord (by ampersand) which is a prepared hard board, 1/8" in thickness.

$70 for UNFRAMED piece.
$120 for FRAMED piece. Sometimes I begin a piece with no plan in mind but rather allow things to develop as they will. This encaustic piece incorporates gold leaf, embossing powder, pan pastel and oil stick. Open to interpretation but I see beautiful minerals floating in water, looking down from above.(Encaustic is a process in which you paint with melted wax, fusing each layer together. When polished it gives a luminescence not seen in other mediums.)
