Media: The encaustics are done on encausticbord (by ampersand) which is a prepared hard board, 1/8" in thickness.

$150 for FRAMED piece. Little Island is Manhattan's newest green space functioning as a park and pier, which opened in May 2021. This is a view looking across toward the park from the promenade. The tulip shapes sit upon concrete piles designed to support a variety of trees and plants. The park is 2.4 acres and includes an amphitheater, stage and lawn space along with 350 species of plants.This encaustic incorporates a toner transfer.(Encaustic is a process in which you paint with melted wax, fusing each layer together. When polished it gives a luminescence not seen in other mediums.)
