Media: The encaustics are done on encausticbord (by ampersand) which is a prepared hard board, 1/8" in thickness.

$175 for FRAMED piece. This encaustic piece is based on a photograph I took while wandering around manhattan. It brought back fond memories of raising my own daughters, when we were all a lot younger!(Encaustic is a process in which you paint with melted wax, fusing each layer together. When polished it gives a luminescence not seen in other mediums.)
