Media: The encaustics are done on encausticbord (by ampersand) which is a prepared hard board, 1/8" in thickness.

$150 for FRAMED piece. Reid State Park is located in Georgetown Maine, on the coast. My husband and I were invited to a wedding nearby and took the opportunity to visit the park in October. It was astoundingly beautiful and being off season there wasn't another soul about.This is an encaustic with pen and ink. (Encaustic is a process in which you paint with melted wax, fusing each layer together. When polished it gives a luminescence not seen in other mediums.)
