Media: The encaustics are done on encausticbord (by ampersand) which is a prepared hard board, 1/8" in thickness.

$130 for FRAMED piece.This is an encaustic of the Killegar Stables, with views of the Wicklow Mountains. My daughter and I use to take horse back riding lessons here. It was hard to focus on riding when the views were gorgeous in every direction you looked. This piece incorporates a toner transfer. (Encaustic is a process in which you paint with melted wax, fusing each layer together. When polished it gives a luminescence not seen in other mediums.)
