Media: The encaustics are done on encausticbord (by ampersand) which is a prepared hard board, 1/8" in thickness.

$145 for FRAMED piece. One rainy day in June I drove my mother into Manhattan, to a doctor's appointment, and waited in the car for her. I loved watching the pedestrians on the street with their umbrellas. This was one of the scenes.This is an encaustic with a toner transfer.(Encaustic is a process in which you paint with melted wax, fusing each layer together. When polished it gives a luminescence not seen in other mediums.)
