Media: The encaustics are done on encausticbord (by ampersand) which is a prepared hard board, 1/8" in thickness.

$175 for FRAMED piece. This encaustic piece is from a photograph I took by the Guggenheim Museum one summer afternoon. I encountered the dog walker several times afterward, walking dogs in the neighborhood. This piece incorporates a toner transfer.(Encaustic is a process in which you paint with melted wax, fusing each layer together. When polished it gives a luminescence not seen in other mediums.)
