Media: The encaustics are done on encausticbord (by ampersand) which is a prepared hard board, 1/8" in thickness.

$150 for FRAMED piece. The historic Dakota Building overlooking Central Park in New York City was completed in 1884. This is a street view of the entrance to the building but you can't go in unless you know someone! It's regarded as New York City's first luxury apartment and is famous as the home of John Lennon.(Encaustic is a process in which you paint with melted wax, fusing each layer together. When polished it gives a luminescence not seen in other mediums.)
