Media: The encaustics are done on encausticbord (by ampersand) which is a prepared hard board, 1/8" in thickness.

$100 for UNFRAMED piece.
$150 for FRAMED piece. Arey Neck Road is off the beaten track, on an island in Maine. The morning I was there it was a bit foggy and beautiful with the wildflowers in bloom.This is an encaustic piece. I've been keeping this one for awhile now but time to let it go!(Encaustic is a process in which you paint with melted wax, fusing each layer together. When polished it gives a luminescence not seen in other mediums.)
