Media: The encaustics are done on encausticbord (by ampersand) which is a prepared hard board, 1/8" in thickness.

$150 for FRAMED piece. There's a beautiful village in Denmark where the hollyhocks compete with one another, growing in every available patch of earth. The locals have baskets of seeds for sale, outside their doorways. This encaustic incorporates a toner transfer. (Encaustic is a process in which you paint with melted wax, fusing each layer together. When polished it gives a luminescence not seen in other mediums.)
