Media: The encaustics are done on encausticbord (by ampersand) which is a prepared hard board, 1/8" in thickness.

$100 for UNFRAMED piece.
$150 for FRAMED piece. This little arched doorway was on the second floor of an old building in France. It seemed rather mysterious with no window and obviously only accessible from the inside. I have kept this piece for years now because I liked it so much, but have recently completed a much larger version so feel I can let this one go now!This is an encaustic with stone spray paint and a toner transfer (Encaustic is a process in which you paint with melted wax, fusing each layer together. When polished it gives a luminescence not seen in other mediums.)
