$175 for FRAMED piece. I live outside Manhattan and one of my favorite things to do is to wander around the city with my camera taking photographs as inspiration for my art work. This is an encaustic piece in which I added stone spray paint and burnt varnish for texture. It also incorporates a toner transfer. This is based on a photograph I took in Manhattan one summer. (Encaustic is a process in which you paint with melted wax, fusing each layer together. When polished it gives a luminescence not seen in other mediums.)
