Media: The encaustics are done on encausticbord (by ampersand) which is a prepared hard board, 1/8" in thickness.
Size: 7x5 in
$100 for UNFRAMED piece. $150 for FRAMED piece. The sun was starting to set and lights were coming on in the shops. This is a deli in Manhattan, beneath an apartment building with lovely balconies. I used pan pastels in the encaustic which also incorporates a toner transfer. (Encaustic is a process in which you paint with melted wax, fusing each layer together.
