“Striped” This was my first play with oilbars on top of my acrylic paintings. The linework has a big fat crayon look, because I used a big fat black oilbar! What a joy to use (like painting with a lipstick). I really love the broken line quality. After this, I bought a lot more colors. :) STRIPED has a lot of layers and rosy golden colors. There’s even a bit of shiny gold paint and marks on there. I’ve been painting for a lot of years…Orphan works are paintings left over from various series work that hasn’t sold or has been hanging in our house. They are pieces that don’t necessarily fit with what I’m doing currently, so I’ve decided to list them here. They are looking for their forever homes so I’ll cover the shipping within the continental US to help make that happen. :) “Striped” This was my first play with oilbars on top of my acrylic paintings.
