I'm working on a commission, that includes some red tulips. I needed a bit of practice! I love tulips. Such cheery harbingers of spring. I like to do these small warm-up paintings before a painting session. The title is the date it is finished. They loosen me up and get me ready to dive into my day in the studio. This original 7.5x5.5 is painted with acrylic on heavy watercolor paper. It’s matted and backed to fit in a standard 10x8 frame. I slip it into a clear protective sleeve and shipping is free in the US. If you’re outside of the US and are interested, send me a note and we can figure out a shipping fee.
