Media: Mixed acrylic and stitching on paper
Size: 4.25x4.25 in
Found in my stash from 2014, Paper Quilt 8 is made with Gelli Plate prints, cut up and stitched together again. The Gelli Plate allows you to make mono prints using regular acrylic paint without a press. A really addictive process! Machine stitching through paper is a very satisfying process too. (Paper Quilt 4 is a great companion piece!) This painting is matted with a backing and slipped into a protective sleeve. It’s ready to pop into a standard 8x10 frame.
