8-20-19 warm-up I was very late to the studio today- but I warmed up anyway. It's such an ingrained part of my process now. I don't think I can paint without it! As usual, this was painted on top of a very patterned underpainting- That's become a pretty regular part of my process too. Here's to routines that work for you! I like to do these small warm-up paintings before a painting session. They loosen me up and get me ready to dive in to my day in the studio. This painting is matted with a backing and slipped into a protective sleeve. It’s ready to pop into a standard 8x10 frame. 8-20-19 warm-up I was very late to the studio today- but I warmed up anyway.
