3-11-20 study Today's painting is from my walk today. It was a dull cloudy day, but I find the woods always beautiful. This time of year there are still some leaves left from last summer that cling on. The color is beautiful against the greys and whites of the late winter forest. I was also intrigued by the white pattern of the melting snow. I'm taking an online class for the month of March. I'll be painting these studies- so they won't really be warm-ups, but more experiments, while I get used to the subject. This is painted on a 6x6 wood panel, painted grey on the sides, wired and ready to hang. 3-11-20 study Today's painting is from my walk today.
