Quiltlet 9

Acrylic monotype reassembled and stitched
I love this process. I cut up some monotypes, made with the Gelli Plate, reassembled them, then stitched the pieces together with the sewing machine. Stitching on paper is a really satisfying process! The graphic yet soft prints are fun to put back together.
I’ve been painting for a lot of years…Orphan works are paintings left over from various series work that hasn’t sold or has been hanging in our house. They are pieces that don’t necessarily fit with what I’m doing currently, so I’ve decided to list them here. They are looking for their forever homes so I’ll cover the shipping within the continental US to help make that happen. :)
