8-27-19 warm-up I'm getting ready for an October show with my good friend, Patrice Erickson. I'll be painting up a storm over these next few weeks. The show's in Romeo, MI at Starkweather Art Center in case you're near and would like to see it. Today's warm-up is a bouquet featuring late summer flowers in luscious intense color. So much fun. I like to do these small warm-up paintings before a painting session. They loosen me up and get me ready to dive in to my day in the studio. This painting is matted with a backing and slipped into a protective sleeve.
