Back in the studio after a bit of a break. These warm-ups are extra important after a break. I always feel a little bit rusty and these little paintings are magic to get me oiled up. It's cold and very snowy here in northern lower peninsula Michigan. It's just beautiful and so quiet. I like to do these small warm-up paintings before a painting session. The title is the date it is finished. They loosen me up and get me ready to dive into my day in the studio. This original 7.5x5.5 is painted with acrylic on heavy watercolor paper. It’s matted and backed to fit a 10x8 frame then I slip it into a clear protective sleeve. Shipping is free in the US.
