Irene Joliot-Curie received the Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 1935 for discovery of artificial radioactivity. Her mother and father, husband, son and daughter are scientists as well. Openly opposed religious influence in political and social affairs and privileges. Opposed the fascist regime that lead to WWI and joined the socialist party. I applaud this great woman who gave her life to science and humanity. Science is real. Irene Joliot-Curie received the Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 1935 for discovery of artificial radioactivity.
