This pumpkin I just cut from its vine today was less round than the others but rather tall. I was reminded of my mother telling me to stand up tall. I was taller than all the other kids so I would crouch down. I think I wanted to fit in.... Now I stand tall most the time. And now it is much less important that I fit in. Thanks mom.
