The second photo is a copy of a great photo of my mother and her 6 siblings. I find working from B & W is a fabulous puzzle to be solved. I picked out my mommy and painted her this time. The whole 3 hours...I kept thinking that I was painting my sister, Karen, too. I loved looking intently into my mothers/sisters eyes.
