This is an 5 x 7 inch original watercolor. The "gathering" is three elements: the barn, the truck and the hills beyond. I suppose you could add the dirt driveway to the party. I tried to put all of these players into a pleasing arrangement. My son saw it and said he wished I had left out the utility pole. I like to put those kinds of things in because I think they add a touch of realism that makes the image more accessible. I am not designing an idealized rural fantasy - I am painting the rural countryside as I find it. The paper is high quality 140 lb. Saunders Waterford watercolor paper. Your painting will be inserted into a plastic sleeve and packed carefully in a USPS Priority Mail flat rate envelope.
