Size: 5x7 in
I pulled my van over to the side of a road in Tullahoma, Tennessee, climbed into the passenger side and painted this scene. While I painted, a jogger passed my car. 30 minutes later I was still there as he headed back. He spoke to me through my window, "Is someone coming to help you?" I told him what I was doing and he said, "God bless you." and continued his jog.
In this painting I was interested in the texture of the massed greenery as it crowded around this old abandoned home.
