This is a one-of-a-kind original watercolor ACEO on high quality 140 lb Arches watercolor paper. My wife and I went on a 2 day camping trip a couple of years ago in the Big Hill Pond State Park. We camped in a tent and had a campfire both nights. I tried various settings on my camera to try and get some interesting campfire shots - just in case I might want to use them as reference. Watching a fire is fascinating and mood evoking. The dancing flames, settling wood and floating sparks are forever unpredictable. It is the perfect backdrop for serious contemplative thinking and conversation. Sometimes I use gouache (opaque watercolor) and/or colored pencils and pastel pencils in a limited way to enhance the painting. Your painting will be inserted in a plastic sleeve and shipped usps in a standard no. 10 security envelope.
