You will find a great variety of rustic outbuildings as you travel through the rural countryside. Most of them do not remain true to their original purpose - they serve a happy retirement as storage facilities. As always, I am visually drawn to the rustic weathered textures and colors and the play of sun and shadows creating interesting shapes and contrasts. Your painting will be inserted into a plastic sleeve and packed carefully in a standard no. 10 business envelope. It is also signed on the front and the back. Sometimes I use gouache (opaque watercolor) and/or colored pencils and pastel pencils in a limited way to enhance the painting.
