This is an original one-of-a-kind ACEO watercolor landscape painting on high quality 140 lb. Arches watercolor paper. This is a cougar, mountain lion, puma, panther, or "painter" as it has been referred to over the years. I got my reference from a trip to the zoo and I used my trusty artistic license to place him into a more wild looking environment. These big cats have a quiet and graceful dignity in their attitude and movements. Sometimes I use gouache (opaque watercolor) and/or colored pencils and pastel pencils in a limited way to enhance the painting.
