This was painted from a site in Peoria, Oregon that overlooks the river near a bald eagle rookery. This is the magical time of sunset when the shadows grow long and the colors change quickly. Started on location, finished in the studio. A fellow artist looked at this and said he could feel his blood pressure go down! A peaceful painting.
