This is the opposite bank of the Willamette seen from So. Willamette Park, Corvallis in the late afternoon. This front lit landscape was a challenge, making differences more in color than value. These trees are where Great Blue Herons nest. They are amazing flyers, taking off from and landing in trees even in windy turbulent air. Like the Pelicans, Herons look like Pterodactyls when flying.
